I plan to get out of the collector world of three wheelers for good this time. Just don't have the time nor space. These will be the first two to go along with a few dirt bikes. I figured since you guys were in the loop when I acquired both of these. That I would give y'all a chance to reminse, discuss, ask questions etc. In other words, let everyone say there goodbye's. There was many here that helped me in various ways. The pics are old but I really don't think It is necessary to post them anyway. I will still be around and hold onto the rest.

This is by NO means a classified ad. These are not for sale yet.

I still plan on keeping the rest. My goal is to get 15k out of everything to buy the family a rzr4. Plus I can barely keep my riders going so I have done convinced myself I will never get to it. I don't understand how y'all that have kids get anything rebuilt. I have decided just to buy stuff already built.

Eric, I sent a guy your way looking for wmx front forks. Wasn't sure if you had extras but he is in a similar boat as you and he lives right down the road. Small world

Thankfully I own my own ATV shop and keep my machines there. So, when it's not busy we can wrench on our stuff. Been wanting to get a Rhino for some time now to ride my daughter around, just haven't had the cash.

p.s He pm'd me, and luckily I do have an extra set.

the 200x would fetch 1000.00 to 1500.00 in the current ebay market that is no mystery . My question is what would the racer be worth ? Seriously I have no clue . You can say its worth "X" amount but what do you guys realisitly think somebody is going to pay for it ? You do not see X racers for sale so it is hard to put a value on them right?

that trike could rake in some huge money from the right buyer, its what the buyers decide to pay.

That is another reason for this thread. I wanted to give every one on here a huge heads up. I have held onto this thing for a while now and would love to see a fellow member own it. Follow its progress etc.. I might be selling it but dont want it out of my life. I just cant bare to see it set there.

These are old pics from a few years ago. Actually the only thing in that garage now is a Outlaw 525, KLX400, tools and the kids bikes and stuff. My toys have quickly outgrown my space. I now have a garage in Pasadena full, brother in laws garage full, shed full and my next step was to start filling up a house i am trying to sale. I finally said " enough"! I have 6 trikes, 2 quads, 12 vintage dirt bikes, street bike and a enduro. This also not counting my cars, RC's and shelves of parts. I am just overwelmed and it would take me a lifetime to get through all these projects. So time to cut some strings

Macs :If you are serious about selling them to a 3ww member I think you need to price a price tag on them .Only you know what you would let them go for . If it were me I would sell that 200x first .You could replace that some day if you miss it .The Caviga , well you would probably never get your hands on an other one .But like you say why have it just sitting there ,put it in the hands of somebody that will bring it back to life .

It runs....Can't speak for Macs on price. But simply putting a price on something like this is almost impossible. All you can do is put it up for auction and see what it brings. Alot of factors come into play with a machine like this as compared to say a 250R. It depends on who sees it, wants it, and how much cash they have. Someone may only bid 2 grand on it ( which I wouldn't sell it for ) or someone may bid 12 grand or 20... Never know......just put in an offer and see what happens.

You are very correct, Eric. It all depends on who see's it and who wants a challenge of restoring her. when i got laid off i put up and ad here and my top offer was something like $1000. but then nobody was buying anything at that time. Thats why ebay is honestly the best place for this. Unless someone just has a ton of cash laying around and wants to throw out a generous offer. If i could come up with the a price, i would probly just post it here.

Bcredneck - it will run...... I had it running when it first got to my house. It hasnt been cranked since but i have no doubt it will fire up now. The reason i havnt ran it is because there is a hole in the case. I jb welded it up just to check the operation of it and it did fine but the Cagiva engine parts are way to expensive and hard to find to risk it. If i ever did rebuild it, i would not ride it. I would be way to scared something would break.

FMNRD - The 200x was actually the last thing i put on the list. I use it quite often and out of all the stuff i have, it is the one my wife goes to when she wants to ride. That bike really has become part of the family and is the most dependable thing i have ever seen. My wife kinda had a fit when i added it. It might eventually get pulled and i do wish the cagiva would sell for enough to cover it.

Macs , You must have a number in your head of what you want for it . A number that you can live with letting it go for right. Lets say you would not think twice if somebody said "I will give you 4k for it ". So throw that number out here on 3WW and see if anybody bits or comes close. If you are waiting for somebody just to say I will give you X amout for it I would be surprised . Most of us here on 3WW are frigin cheap skates looking for the golden ticket .

I think first and foremost, that 3ww is not an auction site. If you have a price you want, please put it out for people. Secondly, the Cagiva is not an italian trike. The Cagiva was a italian dirtbike. The trike was designed and kitted by people in the US, the son of trike kit designer is a member on the board here. And you don't know how many times I hear people say they would give an arm or a leg to have a machine that either can in no way afford. People should really quit guessing as what the trike is worth, especially people that will never, ever be involved with the purchase of the trike. The trike is worth what it is worth to the person who may buy it. The seller may have a number, but a buyer may never agree with what the seller wants, it happens all the time. As far as listing the trike on ebay, best of luck. I can't count how many times machines have gone on ebay and had buyers back out at the last minute with all these excuses. Ebay is supposed to be a contract and it's a joke. Buyers as well as sellers back out of deals all the time. You know how many boardmembers on here have wanted to buy one of my Tigers and never followed through? There is one on this thread now that has done that very thing. So don't get too excited. Anyone remember that $50, 000 atc250r not too long ago. It did the very thing I predicted, people backed out left and right at the last minute. If you don't have the money for the trike or you'll never buy it, then stay the crap out of the sellers business. Seller, List the cagiva in the classifieds section and post a price. Things like this are why people have backed away from this site and keep alot of things between themselves. This is what makes this hobby not fun. Give it a break.

I would agree with Vealmonkey, that the price can't be speculated by non-buyers or the value of the machine in restored mint condition. Sparking interest in your machine for increased sales potential...well you came up short. If you really want interest, post a thread that just details the machine. DO your HOMEWORK! I mean how many owners could that machine have had? I'd try and get to the original guy just to see if he had some artifacts...old pics, possible stories or races. The history in a peice like that is worth the effort let alone the rebuild. This seems more of an investment buy than you looking to manufactures and quality resto types to recreate a true hybrid of it's time. Believe me nothing wrong with that idea of turning over to gain a profit. Posting pics of your wife's over run parking space and a thinking of selling..LOOK WHAT I GOT. Leads me to believe she's got a better idea of the bottom line than you.

When is the last time you seen a car on the side of the rode with a big FOR SALE sign on it that when you turn around and stop and look the small print sez

Yeah, things did not turn out the way i planned.
I was trying to keep this from getting the bombarbment of bashing if i just posted it on ebay. let people ask questions, where i got it from? whats its history? Closeup pics of anything? How it drove? etc etc Also have had several members ask to let them know if i ever plan on selling it. Well this was alot better than sending out 50 pm's. I was trying to kill several birds with one stone.

Lets quit talking about price. I can see why people are getting annoyed because frankly i am too. It will be up on ebay in a few weeks after i dig it out. Bid will start at $1000 no reserve since that is what i paid for it. That is the end of that.
