Okay so the thumb lever is easy to push but for some reason after I took it muddin this weekend its hard as hell to push?? Can somebody help me please

cable is bound up somewhere,that is my guess.

my guess is that you got mud and water into the cable. 1st - is the plastic sheath around the cable in good shape? If it is burnt thru somewhere - it lets water and grim in causing rust and bindage. If it is damaged - save yourself some time - and go buy a new one. If the sheath is good- try lubing it up real good. Spray wd40 down in the top of the cable. Don't use sparingly - pour it in there and work the cable with the thumb throttle - do this for a couple days in a row. that should fix you up.

mud is so hard on bikes, especialy down here where we ride. its like sandy mud, i just cleaned my x and every thing was all seized up and my carburator is black for some reason. ugh, what was I thinking. :mad:
