83 Honda Big Red

Guy on craigslist has a 83 big red for sale, says it runs mint plastics are immaculate lots of new parts for 700$..

Good buy? Thinking of picking it up, never owned a big red before are they decent machines for average trail riding?

bovey, chisolm area? the member that I was talking about is from Elgin,MN its down by rochester I guess. I cant remember what his name is though, i thought i had a pm from him but i must have deleted it! If I remember correctly the 83 big red is chain drive and doesnt have reverse, they are pretty decent machines but the true work horse big red is the 85 and newer model that was shaft drive and had reverse as well as another 50cc's

Eveleth. Chisholm is about 20min away form here. Thanks for the links, I saw the 350X before may be something to look into althought Ifalls is a little bit too north for how much I want to travel...

I'm selling mine that is in near perfect shape for $450, idk what stuff goes for in MN though. 200's are CHEAP in oregon.
