stoked my tires showed today. only took a few days, quick!! they were kinda shoved inside one another, so they look alittle warped, hopefully they will be fine once mounted and aired up. We got a few feet of snow out there now. hopefuly it will warm up a bit and melt it down some. Its been brick here for a solid week(teens). Cant wait to try these out.

what are you putting them on? I need a set of those for my 350x. I have maxxis razrs now and it wont go through any snow without getting buried instantly. How do you think these will do? And how much $$ / where did you order from?

I hate when they smash tires to ship them. I have a set of Dirt Dogs that came that way and they never did straighten out.

these will straiten out fine, they are made of a soft compound of rubber for better cold temp traction.

ya, plus i figure you prob wouldnt feel too much anyway riding on the snow!! Ya the cute kids cost alot more than the tires lol, but then again they never do wear out!! My bullmastiff's name is Hulk. Great dog. Hopefully i will get these mounted tomorow.

correct. these are 9", but are available in 8". i got these at 4wheelparts, for 48 apiece free shipping. you wont find a better deal! you guys use any kind of sealant on the bead, or is it unnessesary??

Thats why I asked, because they looked bigger than my 8'' set

with a quality good condition tire on a good wheel its completely unecessary. Only with damaged tires, or carlisle brand tires on cheapo steel wheels have i had problems with bead leaks. just clean the wheel, wipe some soap on the beads and install. doubt you'll even need tools

thought so!! funny you say that, ive been having a hell of a time keeping the carlisle stryker on my steel sx wheel to stay seealed. everytime i get a root or rock or somthing torquing on that wheel it spinns loose.

yep. I once tried putting carlisle strykers on some brand new itp steel wheels.. no go. They leaked before i even had a chance to use them. When i mounted them i could tell they were loose on the bead cuz they seated with almost no pressure.. i later mounted them on some oem kawasaki mojave wheels they popped on the bead with authority and never leaked a drop.. I only used them for a few rides, but i ran near zero air pressure with no problems.. Some tire/ wheel combos just dont work.
I cant wait for the ride report with the 4-snows..

just now got to test out the 4-snows, i gotta say i am impressed!! we got all of a foot still on the ground, deeper in spots, and these things just churn through it!! And its a very light and powdery snow. i even made it up some good inclines that i havnt been able to touch with anything else!! Granted, its slow going in stuff this deep, but once you get a few passes they start to realy grip. cant wait to try them in some wetter, or crustier snow!! few pics for your enjoyment.

4 snows are nads down the best tire I've owned, they can deal with just about 18"s of snow and the fluffy deep stuff is chicken................
