i had a buddy of mine try to sell me a Honda 110, he said all the parts were there, just needed the carb put back on and the air box and such put back on, and he also said it needed the pull start put back on, he said he'd sell it to me for 50 bucks, i was wondering if this was a good deal, or if it was too much trouble

that sounds like a good deal to me (if he is telling the truth on what it needs)
the 110 is a decent little three wheeler

go to almost any online parts place like bikebandit.com that has diagrams of the parts and look it over and it will kinda show you whats what and then you can look at the parts and it will kinda give you a layout and you should be able to figure it out if not then ask on here or pick up a clymer manual they are the best manuals i know of and it will walk you thru it each step of the way

Keep in mind this 110 is at least 25 years old. You need realize it may need a bunch more work and money to have it functioning properly. Post some pics, it will help determine if it is a deal or not.

here is what my "$50" ATC90 has cost me. $150 tires, $15 brake cable, $15 front fender, I had a seat cover, but that was $21, rear wheel bearings $15, front end parts $55 (thanks again shortline10!!) chain $15 ... = $335 and about 8-10 hours time, that was just the frame, start on the motor next week! Its all good, should have less than $400 into it and it will be good for another 30 years!!!

The 110 I had was a good trike. I bought it for 100 not running but brand new tires. ended up fixing it with just a piece of wire and cleaned the carb. After that it ran great and wouldn't die, fun little bugger too. I'd go for it for 50 bucks. I ended up selling mine for 400 and it had plastic barrels for rear fenders and the front was heald together with sheet metal a rivets.
