i have a 1985 honda 125m that i recently lost the key to. i surfed over this forum for answers and got a few but none seem to be working. and now im lost as to what wires are what down under the front fork. ive got the easy wires reconnected (red, black, balck and white) but the green one has made me hit a road bump because instead of being just a single connector it has a 4 splitter plug. i know that one comes from the igntion key assembly and that one is for the on/off switch on the handle bar. but i have these wires that are all the same color just hanging around and i have no idea what port they go into... does anyone have pics or diagrams they can show me? i have a wiring diagram but its kind of confusing.

try world class help section on the front page
I think there's even factory shop manuals.
Hopefully someone didn't try to add an 8 track player back in the 80's
all done in the same color wire.

if you promose you are NOT stealing this trike, I can tell you my 85 br has no key and 4 wires hanging out into thin air.
for it to run I need to connect...ready??
NONE of them.
but I have to kill it with the , well, kill switch or short out the spark plug with a shovel or golf club.
It will also start electrically with the starter if the kill sw is in the on position, and I jump the starter acroiss the solenoid with all the ignition wires still hanging out separate in thin air and touching nothing.
Is that easier than a wire diagram?

ok i got the recoil spring back in with the slightest of luck. so thats one more obsticle out of the way. now im on to the carb rebuild. i was surfing through ebay and found a few rebuild kits but all of them have these two little springs ive never seen before. so i went on bike bandit and pulled up some schematics and it doesnt show the springs anywhere. so i was wondering if anyone could give any insight on that?
heres the schematic link:

One small spring for the idle screw and one for the air/fuel mixture screw.-but yes, thats a generic pic.

ooo i did forget about those springs... when i think rebuild kit i typically think of internals lol. and no i didnt see the stock photo used part. the gasket and everything looked identical so i didnt bother looking for it

1st of all, watch your face and eyes, they DO fly!
It's been a while but I may have coiled one outside the case and dropped it in but there are people
on here who can do them in minutes with their eyes closed.

i got the recoil back in but now i need to order a frcition spring because i had the parts laying together and the first time the spring lashed out it knocked off the friction spring and its nowhere to be found. i tore apart many pens and found nothing usable so i decided to spend the money and get this done and over with and move on to the carb and gas tank patching.... speaking of gas tan patching any advice on what epoxy's to use ?

Simple temporary fix is the gunk in a tube they sell at all auto parts store...(specific made for gas tank holes) Kinda like play-doh. It will work. I personally, like holes to be welded up...

i would weld it but my dad says its too rusted to weld the holes so for now itll be temporary til i can get the money for a new tank.
