I have a '81 Honda 110 ATC. I have it running but only runs on choke. It runs great on choke? Been completely through it and its clean. Could it be valves out of adjustment? Or timing?
Now can I use an automotive timing light? If so how does on hook the power cable to a 12volt battery and the clamp around the spark plug wire?

I just rebuilt the top end and it runs awesome just got to get the carb right.

Thanks Guys
Love'n the snow.

I found info on the site about the timing light question, so I'm good there.

If it runs only with the choke on check your pilot jet in the carb.

yeah, those slow jets can be plugged with concrete type stuff.
For a couple years I thought a .005" wire was the answer and did them all that way.
I could see thru the slow jet and they ran sorta ok pretty good.

Then I ran across a real nice running one and an .008" guitar string went right thru it...might even be .010"

but that stuff can be so hard it's almot like redrilling a new hole.

oh, and just because the jets are clear or new doesn't mean the internal passages are clear,
found that out the hard way too,
