Okay so my muffler on now is rotted with rust and rot. Can I just run the head pipe for a while or would that hurt something? Any consequences of doing this? Thanks in advance guys. Tyson

I'd be careful...you could pop a valve with no exhaust backpressure, plus it's gotta be loud as heck... remember, us 3 wheelers guys already have bad name:-)

This won't get you riding real quick, but you can still buy a new OEM mufflers from Honda. I got one this fall, not cheap but better that nothing.

A proper muffler is best, but almost anything can be rednecked to work... Tractor Supply has tractor mufflers for $30 that look like they would work fine on a BR, with a little fabbing.... way better than no muffler at all.

Yeah don't bother riding it with no muffler. They are there for many reasons. best to run the trike with the proper bits and pieces so it will last another 25 years
