I recently purchased a 1983 ATC 200 for restoration purposes.. I have now come to realize aftermarket fenders along with much of everything else for this model are not available.... I was wondering if anyone knows what set of aftermarket fenders can be made to work on this model if there are any.. Could i cut the 1984 200s fenders in two to somehow make them work to fit around my storage compartment?? I really want to make this bike look mint but i need to know how to get around this fender problem..

Thanks,
Jake

get some original used plastics, sand them down and then polish them. if you search enough theres a thread on this site that tells you the info you need. its going to take some work but it will be well worth it in the end

thanks for the tip, i found the thread, now all i need to do is find the fenders.. although i think finding a set of fenders without any cracks in them might be near impossible...

There's some on eBay but they don't come cheap, even for ones in only decent condition:
