i may actually be able to get started with the build on the 86 sooner than i thought.. im starting to collect some parts for it and am looking for a front number plate similar to the one dc plastics sells.. does anyone make one for the 86-87.. if i cant find one specificly for the 86 what would be the issues with the one from Dc for the 84-85 would the fitment be close ect or could it be made to work and look decent without hacking it all up.. just would like some feedback on this before i decide to get one from dc ... dont really feel like spending that kind of coin on it if ill have to hack it bad to get it to fit

The forks are spread much farther on the 84-85. I dont know how it would look.

I use a CYCRA which can be seen on this page:

I have an extra green one I would sell.

I have considered buying a ( Acerbis Front Auxiliary Fuel Tanks 1.3 Gallon - White ) type what's in parantheses on ebay to see it. It's like a porteveille foil? or whatever they call it and you can have an extra 1.3 gallons on you to help keep the front end down and make up for the small 2nd gen tecate tank.

Im sure everyone has seen the front air dam on the CT racing 86 Tecate. (The one in Dirt Wheels). Wondering if this was just a Kawi item? or if any of the other racers ever sported this piece. wonder if anyone would be willing to reproduce this item? Does anybody actually have one?

Type in ct racing tecate and there is a thread about those porteveille foils with pics, also try porteveille foils in the search bar. Hondas and Yamahas used them too.
