I did a search and found nothing, has anyone ever done this? If so, what are the details? It seems like such a cool idea for the kick start aftermarket motors... much better than just having the fenders sitting (unsecured) on the mounts. I found this browsing ebay, but I can't tell how it was done from the small pics.

Yes, there have been flip fenders done on an atc70. There were a couple bikes a year or 2 ago on the glamis dunes website, but the owners were reluctant to pass on the exact method.

I like it, pretty trick but I really don't see much point on a 70. There isn't much stuff that the fender gets in the way of getting at. But I would probably do it if I knew how.

if you swap out to a larger motor like A lifan 140 you haveto kick start or do a pull start conversion and a pull start 140 is a hard pull,lol

Now I understand. Wish they had better Chinese motors here than giovannis.

You try and pull start my 150????? ha ha your arm would be left on the pullrope. Love that fender idea.....alway just wanted to cleanly hinge kickstart side fender only myself. Good ideas, thanks

Chuck Norris not only likes it for the high compression kickstart;
but it also keeps him from burning his TRAILPRO when he's crusin
the dunes thong speedo style....Yeah right, you tell'em that to his face.

Great pics. I'm gonna have to look into this when my fenders arrive. It would be awesome if someone made a simple bolt on kit :Bounce

You should try a 310cc Honda 90. Easy when you get the knack.

I use 185s pull start handles on my big bore stroked motors and just pull it like a Man :twisted:
I can say it does get me every trailprotrailpro now and then and it usually hurts :lol:
