so i got a few "trick" parts for 90/110. Mostly top end stuff, a big bore kit, a big valve head, 2 performance cams, a ported head.
anyone know who made this big bore cyl? Also, Im guessing its for a stroker 110 crank since it's taller than my 90 cyl. Also, the cyl base is much larger than the stock 90 base, so not sure if it was for a bored out case (im guessing) or if the 110 cases are larger at the base (I dont have a 110 case here to check it against)

few pics.

as for the heads, they are pretty close to the same, the head gasket size seems the same, the 2 major differences I see is the big valve head has roller bearing some one put in for the cam inner and out, the non big valve just has a roller bearing on the outer (non gear side). both are ported pretty well, the big valve needs a good cleaning.

as for the cams, the big valve head came with the unmarked cam, the ported head with the "K/H 93" not sure who made this cam, the engine I built for my wife happened to have the same cam and seems to run good..almost too good, the more I ride her 90, the more I like it more than my 185. I might slap the ported head on her bike to speed it up a little, and then build another motor with the what ever parts work. I have a mill at my shop so I might try boring out the case for the big bore. I ran my hone through the big bore cyl, it's a little crusty but might be OK, I gotta check the ring gaps and piston clearance.

heres my guess the k/h cam is a kenny harmon grind the cylinder i think is helm& sun star bust huge bore huge stroke like 160-180cc cb750 piston stuff, ive heard to big valve a 90-110 head you used 185-200 valves and cut the stems down?? im sure one of the other guys on here with better knowalge will give some more accurate info but its all cool stuff you got

pauter cylinder? the only piston that you could use with those cylinders are the venolia pistons if i've been reading right

You can use cb750 pistons and several other aftermarket brands with the PM (Pauter Machine) cylinders. You just have to make sure if your head is set up for a higher compression, that you run the same higher compression piston or your performance will fall flat on its' face.

Nice parts . The cylinder is def a pauter and the Kenny Harmon #93 cam is pretty rare because of the double roller bearings and I believe the 93 grind is their midrange with a little more top end the 96 was their top end cam if I'm remembering correctly . The venolia 61mm piston looks like their alcohol piston with that high dome .

cool, thanks for the help guys. Im going to see what I can do with these parts, and at least try to make a low buck, big power motor.

if you have trouble deciding what to do you could just sell it all to me would look good in my collection! =)

If you decide to use that pauter cylinder it wont work with a standard atc90 crank you will need either a atc90 61mm long rod stroker or any points motor atc110 crank . Very important , what is the wrist pin size of that venolia piston 14mm or 15mm ? if its 14mm your going to have a hard time finding a stroker crank for it .

or let me put it to use on my son's racing ATV. ;)

it is a 15mm, thanks for the info. Im pretty sure I could find a motor and make it work. Any one know what kinda of HP these hot rod motors from back in the day were make'n? I know the stock 90's were only make'n about 7hp. I almost want to buy a CT90 I can stuff these motors in so I can test them on my dyno at work..and get the carbs dialed in

The head is a Pauter Machine set-up with a reccessed 30mm inlet valve cut down in length from a Honda XL185S. They used modified KH cams to take the double needle rollers pressed into the head. The piston is one of Pauters (Venolia) methanol 14-1 comp.
