What is everyone using to remove the clutch nut as far as holding the sprocket. In the manual it shows a universal holder for the sprocket. Thanks

3/8 inch impact with the proper clutch nut removal tool. Hold the clutch by hand and turn it off, makes easy work of it. If you don't have an impact put a penny between the clutch basket gear and the crank gear and turn it loose.

Impact gun is the way to go if you have one or you could take it to somebody's house that has one. It spins it so fast you don't even really have to worry about holding it with an extra tool.

I do use a impact to remove the nut but what is everyone using to hold the sprocket when installing the nut so it can be torqued correctly.

You can make the poorman's impact wrench and just smack the end of the ratchet with a wood block. It actually works surprisingly good. Or give the ratchet a quick sharp chop with the palm of your hand.
The socket for the clutch is available from BikeBandit and lots of other places.
Also if the engine is still in the frame if the service manual calls for a sprocket holder I will just leave the chain on and have someone hold the rear brake.
