ive had plenty of good scores over the yrs, but most have come through craigslist. This was an ebay score which is rare as you guys always have a line on th good auctions. As soon as i saw these i new they were takeouts, and in new condition. I scored one a few yrs ago for about 880.00 with the shipping, and felt that was a good deal as i had seen several go for 1200.00 or so. That being said i was not going to bid all that agressive on these, but the opening bids were low. Well for some reason no one else bid!! i scored the one with the carb for 305.00 and the one without for 232.50!! AND THE SHIPPING WAS FREE!!!!! Couldnt really believe it. Guy also had an r motor that i bid on and didnt win, went for alittle over 5 hundred. You guys were really sleeping on this one. they were not listed as new or takeout. guy did not know what they were for, he got them from a farm auction. I have never seen a motor shipped in a box, but hey for free, no complaints. both have a broken fin. the one was done during shipping, the other must have been that way as i did not find the piece in the packing. Other than that they look to be in excellant shape other than some scuffs and scrapes from 25 yrs of storage. He removed the oil from the motor and the oil coolers for shipping.

i got one motor and the carb/oil cooler box yesturday and the 2nd motor came today. both motor boxes said 45 lbs?? i know they are heavier than that. lol the ups driver had to carry them up the driveway too because of the snow.lol and its long and steep!lol.

i gave them some due attention with some detailing as they were quite filthy when they arrived, but i enjoyed every minute of it!! lol

the ones i just got actually look nicer inside, this one has some slight rust residue in the carb and ports.

ya i figured the economy certainly effected it but those are rock bottom prices!! especially with the free shipping

funny thing is i see several used motors on ebay right now with bids well over 200 bucks! i just dont think alot of people saw these auctions.

i think your right i have been doing a search for 350x engine and 350x motor for a for quite a while now and didnt see them.Nice score

That's because he listed them as ATC 350 XG motors, which technically if they are 86, then they are G, but they won't appear in what most buyers are searching. That killed it for the seller, but was good for you aldochina!

I was surprised that I won some auctions this week as well. The past 2 weeks are the slowest for ebay. There aren't as many items posted but the last second bidders are on vacation it seems.

Must have been the 350 X"G" in the auction that didn't show as many people. I would have bought them just to sell them.

You are so right, there are a lot of listings that get mispelled and not enough information in the title for buyers to find. I to have scored hgh dollar NOS stuff for next to nothng myself. Sweet grab on the engines!!!
