The little sheet metal screws in my Dry rotted front tire aren't working at all for me.

So I ordered a new Kanda Max 23x8x11 front tire, should be here this afternoon. I have a box of 1/2" Gold Pro ice screws I'd like to use. Will they puncture the tire? I don't wanna have to make a liner and get a tube. I heard Slime in the front tire can give a trike the death shakes. I used 1" Kold Kutters in my rear tires and already had to slime one of them, no biggie, but the front has me a bit worried. Anyone stud up a front Max before?

Thanks 4cfed, good to know. I'm gonna pick up the new tire this morning and get it studded. Now I have to remove some of the 1" Kold Kutters from the rear tires. Aabsolutely no slide, all bite. Really hard to slide it around the little turns.

I'm having the same problem with the rear tires on my 350. Too much grip and not much slide. I was doing some donuts on the ice last weekend and it really gripped and pulled the front tire up and almost threw me. Really got the heart pumping.

You should be fine with that front tire. They have a good bit of tread on them.

here is a picture of my front tire.. i did have to add studs to the lugs with the grooves in them as the way it was studded in this picture wasnt enough bite and added another stud to each center lug that only had one.. i found my self pushing the front end in corners
