i'm new here but not to 3 wheelers. i'm glad to see i'm not the only one left that still loves to ride them!!!
on my '82 big red my headlight seems pretty dim at an idle but it dims even lower with rpm. any idea why? i searched but couldn't find anything on this. any help would be appreciated!

my 125m was like that with a dead battery, is yours dead, or removed? Or low?

I could be that the "lighting coil" on you stator is getting week. The stator has 2 coils in it. One for ignition an one for lights.
