Will It work? 250r stator

Hi guys just wondering if this stator will fit into/plug into my 1985 r. It has a 1988 motor from a quad in it but has the 85 harness.. will it bolt into the side case and will the plugs work with the 85 harness.

Is everything motor wise and electrical wise the same between 85 - 89 both quads and trikes?

Yes you can run quad stators in the ATC engine.

Sometimes the plugs may be different, but you can always transfer your old connector to the new stator, just get the circuits right.

I used to run a 87 TRX 250R stator in my 85 R. It plugged right in.
