well if you do alot of steep hillclimbs then a +4 would be pretty good all around

i personally would go no more then +2 but the best way to decide is how much turning do you want to lose? the longer you go the less turning radious you have. +4 and above are usually for manely straight line aplications

Hey, Mr. ATC, you think +4 is to much for my 250R then? I am into EVERY kind of riding, with hill climbs my specialty. The thing is, I still want maximum manuverability, and handling for turn outs, cornering, cat walks, etc. I figured I could get away with +4. Just 2 extra inches hardly seems enough!! As it is now, the front end is always comming up through the first 4 gears. Makes it hard to race!! I am thinking Lonestar, what do you recommend? I am not exactly a DuraBlue fan. ( Their spacer kits lick ) Hey, if ANYONE comes accross a Mugan fork kit, let me know. I need something!! The Progresive fork spring upgrade is not NEARLY enough for me!! The rear should be no problem, as the TRX swingarm, and shock/spring are supposed to bolt right on.

YES i think +4 would be too much for what your looking for. although 2" dose not seem like much it makes a differance. one thing that may interest you back when team Honda Modifed there 250R's they used swingarms that were +1 1/2" long on there mx racers +2" on there TT racers and +3" on there desert racers noting that at +3" manuverability suffered but it was acceptable to them in the desert. as for brands i don't think dura blue even makes a swingarm but lonestar, laegers or houser are some of the better ones. i personally like the one's with 4 pinch bolts and the chain guide on them.
