Hey everyone new to the site so please excuse me if this is in the wrong section! Im new to the trike world (I've been riding my buddys 200x, 86 250r, and 350x but never owned my own) Well i've had the bug for a while and picked up an 84 250r. Its a little rough but I plan on making it into a cherry im not new to the 2 stroke world by anymeans I've grown up on banshees, kx500s, 250s ect..

My question is what are some good things to do to these air foolers?? Ive heard of switching over to an 85/86 R front end of even a 350x front end any thoughts? Also is there any place to snag a better rear shock mines blown. I know on the banshees playing with timing was an easy mod can you adjust timing on these or mod the backing plates to do so? Anyone know where to pick up a little wider axle or an axle off another bike that interchanges?

Right now it has a dg silencer and 34mm keihin of an 85r. Im about to buy a hondaline 300r kit and hand coned header since my topends on its last days.

Thanks in advanced everyone this site rocks! Trust me it helped us ALOT on my buddys 200x!!! :D
