Just a quick question, what carb are you running on your b2? 38 pwk? 35 pj? let me know what your running and how you like it. A carb is one of the last parts I need to put my 250 runner together. I have a stock round slide, but was leaning towoard a 38mm airstryker. opinions?????

You're lean is correct. The 38AS is arguably the best all around carb for stockish to mild 250's. They will even sustain much larger engines well if pure drag is not your intent. Great response down low and through the middle are the benchmark of them . The larger PWK is usually geared more toward the top end rush. It's easily modified due to the throat design.

I am currently running a 38PWK on my 310. Running pretty good with #55 pilot and #172 main second clip from bottom, 110 fuel. Awesome throttle responce! I still needed more time with fine tuning but I am changing pipes anyways before next dune trip.

I am also looking at getting a carb for my 86 B1 and I was "leaning" towards the 38AS. There is a company on ebay that always has them for about $220 or so. I think they're called acjracing or something. Has anyone dealt with them? Is that a decent price?

I have found that seller just a bit pricey-if you look I betya you'll find that carb cheaper for sure.Try carbpartswarehouse.com for that carb, might be cheaper there. Also ROCKY MTN ATV has free shipping over 99 bucks currently, save a couple bucks on that.

a 34pj should fit

I had like 39mm VM
Also use 38 or 39 quad vent PWK and a 38mm TM

They all seem fine on stockish motors but would really shine a ported one.

But with the gearing seeming to be so short in my opinion, a 36mm PWK would be best all around.

ESR is a good place to pick 1 up. they give u a hand full of jets and they will machine the back side of the carb to fit the stock air box boot. ESR.com
