200x shock spring differences-colors

Got a decent 1st gen 200x shock in a box of parts I bought. It has a blue spring instead of the red spring like on my trike right now. Is there a difference between the different color springs? I'm thinkin of going with the blue on cause it'd match my hubs, seat, fork boots. Thanks, Matt.

A blue spring simply means its a 1985 200x spring , red were 83-84 .
