70 headlight

I want to instal a simple headlight on my 70 and was looking at just putting a 110 or 125 on. But without the switch, so it works off the stator. Can it be done or will I run into problems in the 6V/12V area. 70 is an 82 and the 110 headlight will be off a 85 110. I've got 3 laying around. :)

yeah you can wire it up. if you use a 12v light it will be just fine... want to sell one of the spare lights? i am looking for one ,,, ??????

I have an older 110 light on mine. Its the one that had the switch on the headlight. It works great.

Weren't some 70's 6 volt? I found a unused wire under the tank area and was gonna see if that wire had power when running. If it did I was just gonna power it off that. I'd send ya a headlight but I got 3 that are in various states of torn up. I'm gonna make 1 good one outta 3.
