83 250r oil

can someone tell me how much gear oil to put in my 83 250r? i dnt have a manual

There is a bolt you take out of the side of the engine that tells you when the oil is full. Pull the bolt out, start filling the crankcase, and stop filling once oil starts coming out of the hole.
