Just got my Cylinder Back From LED / Arlan, Once i got home and inspected it notice
a Deep Scratch on the surface ( I don't recall this being their but i'm not 100% sure )

Is this a problem ?

Can it be Fixed ?

If I'm not 100% sure should i call him on it ?

Some suggestion would be appreciated

Thank You

I bet it'll be fine, but that was very unprofessional of somebody to pry the head off like that. Did you send him the jug with the head attached? Did you pry the head off with a screwdriver? Somebody wasn't as careful as they should have been...

No it was just the cylinder, but it's O-Ring so it should just lift off since no gasket on it.

In my opinion it'll be alright.

Doubtful it was their fault then, unless they dropped it or something. Skim it with some JB Weld. I bet you'll be fine.

That will have absoulutely no effect on the o-rings. Just make sure nothing extends above the flat surface of either the head or cylinder. That would be only thing that could prevent full compaction of o-rings.

i was gonna say that too, if it doesnt protrude or contact the o-ring area, you are gonna be fine

i agree that the nick in the deck surface looks purely cosmetic. I wouldnt worry about it unless the o-ring leaks.. the black finish on those jugs looks great. nice work!
