I want to buy all from the same place so i don't have to pay seperate shipping. I'm ready to bang my head against the wall. I've looked everywhere. Once place will have this and one will have that. Can it really be this frustrating? I can't believe there's not one place that makes an aftermarket rear sprocket for an 81-82. any info greatly appreciated, i can't ride my 82 until I get front, rear sprockets and chain:cry:

I was going to suggest sledpartsguy (http://shop.ebay.com/sledpartsguy/m.html?_nkw=atc250r+sprocket+set&_sacat=0&_sop=12&_dmd=1&_odkw=atc250r&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3911.c0.m270.l1313) on eBay but I see he only has complete sets for 83-84 and 85-86. You could send him a message to see if he is able to get the 81-82 set. Is there something special or weird about the 81-82 parts?

I always use Sprocket Specialists. I cannot say for sure if they will have what you need, but it doesn't hurt to check.

Are they the same as all sport trikes and quads? I was told that in regards to 450r rear sprockets that I wanted for my 82 R.

So I see on ebay I can can get a 43 tooth rear spocket and the correct length chain from a 1985 200s. I was told that I can a front sprocket for an 86 250r and that will work. My question is will the 43 tooth work on my 82r and what would it change over the stock one which 40 tooth.

Rocky mountain doesn't carry anny sprockets for the 82. But I did notice that you can still get an oem frame for a low $1900+

Just because they list it, does not mean it is available. If you ordered it they would tell you it is discontinued.

Try PBI sprockets. They have a website and have sprockets for just about everything. I have used both PBI and sprocket specialist sprockets...The PBI's hold up just as well, look just as good, and are cheaper.
