got me a new 85 350x project

im almost ready to start my new project. as soon as thanksgivings over im going to start tearing it down.i traded a 85 t3 for the 350x, the x runs good leaks a bit of oil the sub frame is twisted. i found a 85 roller with good frame and some misc part that i went and picked up sunday in rochester. i traded a couple guns for it. i ll be be getting the rest of the parts i need this weekend i think from a fellow member, cattledog. i plan on making a nice trail rider out of everything. ill post some more pics as i get farther in to my project

nice bud. i will be down this weekend i will have to give you the address to the cabin so you can come get the parts. the x i traded you is coming to gether nicely and the trail rider is taking a thrashing daily, almost impossible to keep it clean the way the weather is. see you this weekend. cattledog

my 350x trail bike is coming along nicely. got everything blasted and painted and starting to put it all back together now. its going pretty smoothly so far. after getting into it, it looks like it has a 86 motor and a few other 86 parts like axle etc. should have quiet a bit more done today111036111037

everthing was going good until i just found out that the case is cracked.thought it was just the oil plug leaking but thats not the problem. i was hoping to have it done by next weekend so i could play in the snow. unfortunetly thats not going to happen. pretty bummed out now

got her done today. looks like its going to be a nice trail bike after all. jb welded the case for now looks like no leaks, runs awesome sounds cool has a 450 exhaust with a power tip. goes good in the snow i was all over the place on it today day

rear tires are mounted backwards, other than that great job!

ya the rear tires are directional i put them on that way for sand and snow they dig better that way

thanks, cant wait to see your finished x. those king quads are nice my buddy has one. i had a blast riding the 350x around to day i forgot how much fun they are in the snow
