Well, 20:1 is ok, but what type of mix or you using ? what type of plug ? Depending on the oil you're using, 20:1 may be too much. I run Klotz super techniplate mixed at 4 ounces to a gallon, with a number 8 plug. I haven't fouled a plug in 3 years.

i run same klotz oil same mixture 32:1 br8es plugs, i never foul plugs on my CR or either 250r and engines are holdng together great. I agree, with todays oil's 20:1 is probably a little too much oil in mix. Do a plug check and see if its black or wet may need to adjust your jetting

20;1 seems a little rich, if your putz around it might foul. Whens the last time you ringed it? You can check the compression to see if it needs rings and possible hone....Beets

Did it just now start fowling plugs? Did you change the jets at any time? If you always used the same mix ratio and it didnt foul before than that probably isn't the problem....

I was having the same problem getting real wet plugs, took forever to start. I run a 40:1 mix and had a 155 main jet in there, after some tinkering, i went to a 142 main and am running pretty cherry. no more bogging on top end and no fouling the plug.

sounds like you need a smaller main jet to me, but hey what works for one, may not work for another.

Maybe in need of a carb rebuild.

I had a similar problem that took me many months to figure out on a good compression stock trike with stock carb and jets. I tried different mix oils at various ratios all to no solution. Installed a carb rebuild kit and no more fouled plugs.
