350x with inverted forks

I finally got the new front end on my 350x and was able take it for a ride. I can’t believe the difference in the ride very smooth and soaks the whoops up like they where nothing. Using 2001 CR500 forks and cr500 front brake only thing I’m still waiting on is the brake line clamp. I’m experimenting with different ride heights I can drop the forks and raise the rear shock but I think I like the lower ride height. With the forks in the current location it increases the wheel base about a inch and i also running a +2 swing arm. Jason Hall did the triples as a kit includes triples, brake rotor adapter, axle and spacers.

And my frame is fully gusseted !!!

An amazing trike. Those inverts do add the bling, but can imagine the preformance, actually looks more agile.

I seen the inverted fork kit for a 250r on ebay you would need the forks yet there made for KX # KTM85SX forks. Gow muck ould it cost for the whole set up conversion and a 250r?

I seen this before but couldn't figure out why... whats the advantage of invert's? less up sprung weight for faster response? that's all I can come up with by my self.

There are alot of advantages to inverts. Complete tuning of compression and rebound is the biggest thing. Decreased fork flex is another.

You have two of the nicest 350s on this forum. I was talking to Jason about getting a kit for my 350 a few months back but ended up selling it instead :(

It seems that your forks fit the 450R conversions but are to tall for the 350X.....

Your kinda screwed with the taper on the dirtbike forks or you could just run them up higher, although that still may not be enough.

Apparently between a kit and the forks with new springs for your weight, the whole deal is around 1000-1200$ depending on how cheap you snag up the forks.....

Fire1's 350X has full length cr500 forks. He also has a longer swing arm on his bike to help get It up a bit higher to allow the use of the long forks. I can notice It's raked the front out a bit over stock, but still looks Nice!!! You have some sweet bike's Tim.

DC - there are a few forks out there that make It easier to adjust the ride height. They have a long section on the top of the upper tube that allows you to slide the forks up In the clamps. They are Real cheap also. Invert's are also VERY plush, so just the weight of the bike lower's the ride height and with the rider It drop's even more. The trick Is to get more rear travel (Plush Travel) then the Front and rear work great together.

Here Is what I'm talking about. These are machined evenly on the upper part of the top tube. These forks before 01 can also be shortened easier than most other. These thing's are all over Ebay VERY cheap.

Stepped type that are not as easy to work with on hondas! These work Great on a Tri-Z with updated rear suspension.
