hour and rpm tac help please?

hey i got used h/r rpm tac for my bike but i dont know how to hook it up right.

has a red and black wire .

should i just wrap both wire's around my coil?


if anyone has installed one of these befor that can help me ?

Is it one of those tiny tachs? I have one of those for tuning. The red wire goes around the spark plug wire and the black wire gets grounded to the frame

yes it's one of them small tachs. should i ground it to behide my coil that gose on to frame?

You can ground it behind any bolt. I grounded mine behind a bolt for the rear master cylinder
