I've been working on bikes for 25 years now and I have to say this Yamaha trike is the most aggravating thing I've ever worked on.. Come to think of it, every time I've had to work on a Yamaha it's nothing but pure aggravation..
End of rant :D

My Kawasaki 1992 KDX 200 is the same way. My brother is buying that so i can buy more trikes.

Same here.. I tore my motor down further last night. Have broken several bolts and had a few VERY stubborn ones that were tight the whole way out. May need to do some helicoiling. I hate allen heads and phillips heads!
Alos got the frame painted. Going to hopefully paint and clean some more stuff today and hope to have it back together in the next couple weeks. Will definitely be relying on some prayers that everything works correctly!
For some reason the thread on my teardown got locked?? I was going to post more pics in it..but not sure why it got locked. It was only a few days or so old.

Anyone have any tips on removing the cams? I threaded a 6mm bolt into it and used a thich washer as a sliding hammer.. Won't budge. Running to the hardware store to get a longer bolt - but not looking too optimistic. It's not the end of the world if I can't go through the head - but I really wanted to.
