2011 trike calendar PHOTO thread!!!!! READ DESCRIPTION

READ HERE BEFORE POSTING

Well, if you guys want a 2011 calendar all about TRIKES I will need 24 photos to use, 12 full color photos for the header, and 12 photos that will be turned black and white for the background on the actual calendar itself. Here's the entry rules:

READ:

-Photos must be of a trike. Does not matter which trike, but it must be an offroad ATV only. Action and static shots are acceptable.

-Static photos must be of an overall clean trike, so nothing covered in mud. The photo must show plastics in good condition, so no cracks. If there are small visible cracks, I will do my best to photoshop them out. Tires don't have to be shined, but preferably not covered in mud either.

-Action photos need to be fairly clear, preferably not blurry.

-Each may submit up to 2 photos, to make it fair.

-All photos will receive minor touching up to be presentable.

-Photos will need to be the highest resolution, and as big as your camera will allow. Cell phone pictures would not be appropriate unless it takes very large high quality photos.

-PHOTOS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO ME FOR POSTING IN THIS THREAD!!

I will make a copy for resizing then I will post it here. PM me a link to your image. Images can be hosted at ImageShack (http://www.imageshack.us/), and copy the direct link.

I am not sure on a calendar size, so that is why I am asking for a high res and full sized photo, to allow room for resizing. Pricing also won't be too much either, I will post more information when I find out more about what size the calendars will be. I will also try to post calendar dates for Imperial Invasion, Trikefest, Icefest, ect. ect. if I can get the information about the dates. Final photo selections will be done by an independent party to allow for fairness.

Break out your best beauty and get to snapping!!!! Don't forget to flip that setting to finee.. :D

Calendars should be shipped out by the 10th of December, which will give plenty of time to have them delivered.

Still shots, action shots, don't matter to me, the more the merrier! As long as they adhere mostly to the guidelines, I shouldn't have any problems. I need 24 photos anyways, so the more photos I can get the better.

Try and get some bigger pics. When you blow up pics, it might not look too bad on the computer, but they turn out really blurry on paper. I know very well first hand, and spent a lot of hours gathering new photos :(

There is no set in stone price yet, or calendar size. I won't be constructing them until I have enough good quality photos to create a nice and colorful calendar, which will allow as many people to submit photos for final selections.

Shipping outside of the USA will be slightly more because of customs, but it won't be much. Yes, the more you buy the better the deal!

Yeah, the 350X is a big one, as there's a handful of 250R's already in the bin for selection :)

I think I'd like to see a 90, a 110, and one of the big reds, ontop of a sport bike or two, then that would basically be it for the colored photos.

I resized them to the biggest setting but how do you change resolution after the pic is taken? Or could the page have a couple of different angles of the same machine on it if folks can't find big pictures? Collage style.

I'd prefer to get full sized pictures, and put one per page, as that would take the least working time to get done, but if it gets to that then I can do that. If your camera is a digital still image camera (not a camcorder) then it should spit out a nice big picture, even 2mpx which would be close to 10 years old should put out a reasonable picture.

It would be cool if someone took a pic of one of the new 4 strokes nosed up against an original 2 stroke of it's kind. Example, the Tri-Z 450 nosed up to an all original Tri-Z 250. Old vs new.
