Hi, i am new to this site but i have a question that i need some help with. i recently aquired a 1985 honda atc 70 at a yard sale for 75 bucks in fair condition but it idles and when you give it throttle, it stalls right away. i cleaned the carburetor 4 times and its spotless and all jets and seals are in it and it still wont run right. it has great spark and fuel is clean, carb is adjusted right, and im going to clean the points yet. can anyone give me any advice on whats wrong with it and also are you able to put a light on it.

maybe its too lean... you might need to jet it up or down...

Hi,
Make sure your using it at the right choke setting. also make sure you don't have a cracked manifold??

well, i cleaned the points last night then and actually that was the problem, i swore it was fuel but it wasnt, it runs great now and actually the manifold is warped less than a 1/4 inch so it doesnt affect performance but im going to get another one anyhow.
