Ive been trying to find some info on this for awhile, How many teeth are on the rear sprocket of the 185 and the different 200 models? If i remember correctly the 200 had a larger sprocket. Was there any changes from year to year? Whats all interchangable? I think there is a difference in the hub that holds the sprocket to the axle.

There were differences from the earlier model sprockets, I know that the 80-82 185 had a different sprocket than the 83 185s - completely different sprocket the way it was designed, and deffinatly wont work on the newer axle. I believe the same goes for the earlier 200 models. Heres what I got for the rear sprocket sizes -
1980 185 - 47 tooth
81-83 185(s) - 41 tooth
81-83 200 used a 47
84-85 200m - 47
84-86 200s - 43
83-85 200x - 40
86-87 200x - 38
