found this 3-4 days ago sittin on a farm way out in the middle of no-where's ville !!! A farmer made it for his little girl with cerebral palsey . She wore braces on both legs and there were steel plates that attached to her braces and they had leather straps to hold her legs stationary while she rode. Since she couldn't move her legs he attached a hand shifter to the original linkage. The bike had sat in one place for the last 20 years he said ... His daughter is 41 years old now. He said it ran but the last time they started it it smoked really bad. I said darn ... Wonder if he knows it's a 2-stroke ? Well all in all i talked to him for about 45 minutes and we worked out something and we both were happy in the end. I brOght the trike home took a speed cutter and cut off all the braces. Removed the carburetor cleaned all the jets and passageways with air and carburetor cleaner and installed a new uni air filter. Put it back together and pulled it one time and she fired right up, and yes it still smokes. I had to put 3 tires on it after 20 years of sitting the rims had cut the tires and they would hold no air. So here she is ... Seat is immaculate, still has tools under it ... Plastics are ok, front fender appears to have been trimmed to make it shorter >? Bearings and chain are good ... Brakes are almost gone . All lights work ... She is a little crEam puff !!! The hand shift is kinds weird !>?
I honestly have no use for it tho ... What would you all recommend i do with it ... ?

Nice find, looks neat! I was just offered one of these to me and now after seeing yours I am more inclined to go for it. I might even copy that sweet shifter. What about your kiddo in a few years?

Yeah I was going to say keep it for your kid. It sat for 20 years, probably not fogged. It could easily make him a great trike when he's bigger, it can wait a little longer for a rider. They are really fun, I picked up a YT175 in the same shape that had just sat, not as long, but I love the trike. Mine started the first pull after I cleaned the carb, but after a week of riding my reed valves started getting weak and it was impossible to start. So if in a week or so or riding it, it starts taking a lot of pulls to start get some Boyesen power reeds. It also has so much more power. I would keep it.

I like the little thing , and with low tire pressure it actually rides ok ... I just have no use for it ... I am a Honda man at heart ... I love 2-strokes or the simplicity of them that is ... but 4-stroke honda's are the stuff my childhood is made of ... I also got a 1980 atc110, a 1985 atc200s and a ct70 in the deal ... the 200s runs like a champ ... but the plastics were bad ... so I am gonna part it out I guess ... the atc 110 runs like a sewing machine ... but the plastics are gone on it too ... the ct70 is what I was after ... all original right down to the tires ... even had the original key and spare key too ...

Man I paid $75.00 for it ... a 1980 HONDA ATC110, a 1985 HONDA 200S, The YAMAHA YT125, and a CT70 HONDA.
I am thinking of paring the 200S, the ATC 110, and the Yamaha YT125 .... I only really wanted the CT70 ... but I got a complete truck and trailer load ...

That trike is nice looking. Mt grandpa has a honda 110 and his left leg is a little screwy, so he has a hand shifter on it also. not very fun to try and shift when going over bunmpy terrain though
