Need to pick ya'lls brains for a moment if ya don't mind. I'm looking to put a 25X10X9 (or 12) on the front of my big red. I currently have a 25X12X9 so I'm thinking i need a 1 inch spacer to split the difference but i'm not really sure.
Of course i want the tire to ride in the center of the forks, so i want to make sure i get this right. All i'm finding on ebay and the net is 2 inch spacers and above. Can someone please give me some incite on this so i get this right the first time. Or maybe even tell me a good cheap way to do this, or place to buy one.

Thanks
al

On the stock wheel?

I have been here, done this on my BR... My wheels (aftermarket ITP's) 9x8's only required a .200" spacer to center it between the forks... (Logic told me I would need a .500" but....) I have 25x12x9 Mudlites tires on mine...

Any idea where i can a find a 1/2 inch spacer? Or can i simply use washers?

I have access to a mill and a lathe at work, so I custom made a .500" spacer, and when the math didnt work out as simple as I thought it was going to, I had to cut it down... I wouldnt use washers.... (imo)
