I found two after market axle forsale different places, and both people are telling me they are NASSA brand? Are these any good, do they hold up well?

I know they have been around for a long time, i seen there ad in a magaziene scan from a long long time ago. I would also like to know the quality, and if they are still in buisness.

They were a decent axle back in the day BUT not meant for motocross or if you liked to jump . Perfect for flattrack and the average trail rider . When I first started racing in the 80s I bought a +6" NASA for my 200x and it came with a 1 year warranty , Well needless to say I broke 4 axles in that 1 year time and they always broke right at the swingarm .
After the NASA I started using a Durablue and that was great for a while but I eventually broke that as well so now it was time to spend the big bucks for a Finishline racing axle and I raced that for a few more years and never had a problem with it and its still on my bike right to this day perfectly straight . Hope this helps

I second Shortline's post. The first axle that I had on my 200x was a NASA +6" and I bent it after a few Motocross races. I still have a NOS one laying around too. Finishline was the best, but good luck finding one these days. I currently am using a durablue and it has worked well for me for 2 seasons.
