i restored my 200s, allready it has a cam and i will decide dg or cobra exhaust bottom end is together and then i have to have the head sent out for the new guides to be installed and new valves set in, but im stuck on what piston to use. i have taken this build on a real tight budget but without using dirt parts. now the stock 200x piston is flat top since it has higher compression. both bore and strokes are the same 81-85 compared to the regular 200. 86 up 200x has a longer stroke so i would know that the piston dimensions might be diffrent. but back to what im getting at i can by a 85 stock x piston for half the price for a after market high compression from weisco. its like 12:1 but im happy with the 200x 9:1. and last thing are the pistion pin dia. the same for the 200's. anyone who could shine some light on this subject would be awsome. winter is coming and i need this thing done ASAP. thank you

I believe they interchange, however I thought the X was 65.5mm as opposed to 65mm stock on the 200s? Maybe I am thinking of the XR200.

The 83 -85 piston kit will fit straight in.

Piston pins are all the same size 15mm and all the 200 models except for the 86-87 200x will fit your 200s

the 200x is 65mm, if you want more power you can get an xr 200 and bore it over .5mm
