Ok here is my story. This January, I will be traveling to Florida to visit a bud of mine and go ride some sand dunes. I have a 1985 Honda 350x that basically mostly original with a few aftermarket parts. http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php?118538-My-350X This is my first time ever riding in the sand, I want to know what I need to do to my machine to make it "dune ready". It is the original engine with no inernal work done what so ever and I'm almost positive all the bearings are probably original to because this machine was hardly before I purchased it. I'm almost half tempted to do new high compression piston and mild cam just to wake it up a bit but what should I prepare or replace before making my maiden voyage this year?

paddles, a flag, a helmet, make sure your air filter is solid, have fun...

Sand dunes in Florida....:wondering  Does your buddy own some beach front property????? I lived in Florida my whole life and I am unaware of any dunes....It is the reason I am now 2000 + miles away...not many dunes east of the Mighty Mississippi.
