Picked up a K0 US90, K1 US90 and a 78 ATC 90 today as a package deal for $1K. Had to buy them from the pics you see here since they are 2,000 miles away(I love challenges!). A little info; the guy has owned them since 1986. He crashed and wrote off his 350x and almost killed himself from a chest injury. He bought the K0 to ride while he healed and decided to paint it 350x colours (he's a body man and tool and die maker by trade). He picked up the K1 off a farmer who had it stored in his barn. It is original. He wanted to restore it but lost interest. The 78?????
1970/71 K0
Runs good
It has awesome tires on it, no cracks, plugs or patches
Rear fender is not cracked but has been stripped down for repainting
Seat Original
1972/73 K1
Completely diassembled but supposedly runs good
It has one undamaged tire rear tire. The other two are repaired but will hold air
Rear fender is not cracked but has also been stripped down for repainting
Seat was professionally recovered to original specs for the tune of $450.00:eek:

Now the work begins;)

Those 90s look great. Nice tires!! I hope to get my hands on few more myself! Did you get any headlights/tail lights with them? Whats the plan for them coolpool? Your name reminds me of Les Claypool. Oh yeah , nice aquarius blue also!

Apparently the lights for the 70 are in one of the totes with all the 72 parts. The unfortunate part is that the machines are 2000 miles away. I've never seen them! Still trying to arrange shipping. I plan on painting the 70 back to original red/white and the 72 to the original orange or red(whichever it is?). The 78 is tentatively sold already. And no, My Name is not Mud! Go Primus!

The big plan is to own each colour of the 1970's. A challenge in Canada.

I will definitely keep you posted on my progress. Still waiting to build my shop where I plan on doing the serious work painting and such. Not too much tinkering lately with hunting season in full swing and winter coming. I talked to a trucking company right here in Cold Lake and they think they can get them here for under $500.00. I don't think that's too bad considering there are three of them.
