Half race gas and half pump gas with a 11:1 high compresion big bore powroll 350x pistion:wondering?Or do I have to run full race gas? IF I have to run full race gas then I'm most likely gonna dump the Idea might as well go full race gas with 14:1,15:1 or hell maybe even 16:1:naughty::twisted:.........

You can cut it half and half.....I do it all the time. I mix VP110 with 93 octane in my Tecate, brings it down to about 100 octane and keeps the cost down!

I dont see a problem.....but thats only my opinion! Do you know the exact compression ratio?

LOL I haven't built the motor yet. So I am asking this question before I go out buy the piston, build the motor and find out it needs full race gas. Now that would really suck. Anyways, The compression ratio is gonna be high as I can get with running half/half( Half pump_half race gas). So if I can run half/half with 13:1 compression then I'll order a 13:1 piston. If but if 12-13:1 won't work then I'll use 11:1.So really I have never looked into race gas that much (Untill now) other than its one of the best fuels you can run with a high compression motor.lol.

Should be fine on the 12 not sure about the 13 it would be borderline, but this is also just my opinion.

My 350x motor runs perfect with 92-93 octane and it is 11-1.

Just run a full race cam to bleed off some cylinder pressure and you'll be fine.

AWESOME! Thats just what wanted to hear. Thats even cheaper than running half/half.
