Can anyone tell me what model this is, I've seen a few but the ones I've seen only had a single seat. I paid 500.00 for it and its all there even the reverse box. what do ya think? good deal or not so good? :postwhore

I don't know anything about that particular trike, but $500 does seem a bit steep to me.

Yeah for the shape it seems to be in I would have tried to get him down on price. But it goes to one of those things how bad you want it, and on top willing to put into it. Good find though

You should find some good information here:

oldminibikes.com...More Than Two Wheels...Heald (http://www.oldminibikes.com/forum/search.php?searchid=467813)

For parts, you can call a former employee of Heald, Ron Kimball at 1-800-535-9529. His company name is Power Tec in Benton Harbor, MI. He apparently has quite a collection of New Old Stock parts.

Carl Heald Super Tryke, if it has reverse, it's a STX model. What size engine is on yours?

ive got a super trike and i love the swingaxle suspension i also had one with four wheels and the dump bed but i sold it about two years ago for $1200 i guess that price was cheap because it was only for sale for 2 hours and the guy didnt even try to talk me down but the super trike is very fun to ride and i would have paid $500 for it

I've looked at torque converter drives and gear boxes for karts before, together they are over $500 for something in the 13HP range. $500 was a fair price just considering what the engine and drive line would have cost if you bought them.
