Ok so I have had plenty of ATC trikes in the past. However I have always run 5W30 or 10W30 automotive oil in them.

After doing some reading I see that the Motorcycle oil is a better oil for the clutches etc. So thought I would as on here what people run in them.

I do intend on running it this winter, not in 30 below but around -10 C.

Any suggestions on what oil to use?

I've been rinning Valvoline 4 stroke motorcycle oil in my trikes all summer. 20w50 blend. I don't know how it will effect staring in the cold winter months here in Wisconsin. Might have to change to 10w40. Regular automotive oils aren't good for wet clutches, but some people haven't had problems. But me, I'll pop the extra buck or two for the right oil and piece of mind.

I really dont mind running good oil.

In my truck I run synthetic;)

Just not sure on what oil to run. The lighter oil the better right now as its can get pretty gummy here in the cold.

Plus this winter we are building a ice track! LOL

For some reason whenever we get on these trikes we start thinking like a 14 year old again lol
