I saw a liquid cooled lifan engine on ebay today there were several of them. They were cheaper than the air cooled motors. I was wondering if anyone knows if the will bolt up like their air cooled versions?? It didnt give hp numbers but I would guess they produce more power than the air cooled versions.

I'm not sure if it fits but here is a link for others that may know:

I went on E-bay and looked, you posed a very good question nicker71. I know the aircooled bolt in. I wonder how generic the Lifan built bike is, because I would think the mass produced dirtbikes would have nearly the same frame and motor mounts for most models. If not the dimesions are similar to the air cooled motor. I'm very interested in this, hopefully someone with a couple of these atv's or dirtbikes can answer this. It also looks similar to my Tecate mounts. If new motor mounts is all that needed to be fabbed, would be a nice motor for my son in a Tecate chasis or his current 200x.. On another note, the aircooled are way over priced. The dealer here locally is nearly $200 cheaper, for a new, 2008-9 lifan motor. So I bet the liquid would be too. Lots of old lifan enduros etc., for cheap for wiring, radiator etc.. Would be great if someone who knew anything on these matters would respond. Good questions-

I also would be interested in knowing if the engine will bolt into stock 200X mounts. It'd be nice if I could convert my X over to LC, because it gets quite warm in the summer, and I can really feel the power loss after riding around for a bit. Would probably also mean fabbing up some mounts for radiators. I would assume that just regular old 250r radiators would work...
