I replaced my rear pads .the clearance was not right ,my caliper was all the way in. i had to file on the pads themself and it was still a tight fit. im trying to wear them in but my rotor is getting hot due to i think the actual pad material is longer than the original
Anyone else had this issue??????

Your caliper slide pins seem seized, is the caliper (without pads), free to slide back and forth a half inch or so? If not, thats your issue.........

hmmmmmmm, If he just replaced the pads seems that the pins wouldn't be "SIEZED" hard to replace them if they won't come out.

^ The used/worn old ones came right out, the new ones he had to grind and the rotor heated up. Seems like they can't center themselves.

I also only run OEM, it doesn't surprise me that TUSK pads stink. I just hope the SS rotors I bought from them hold up!

I'll bet the caliper is not all the way in, but bottomed out against the parking brake bolt. Try and loosen the parking brake bolt then push that caliper all the way in . Don't forget to remove the master cylinder cover for excess brake fluid also
