If you have patience and find "that " right buyer I would think you would be in the 3000 range up here. Hard part is finding the right buyer. My Tecate was on Kijiji for almost 6 months. Give me a few months and I'll trade you for a nice fresh Tecate??

well you didnt go with OEM as seen by the plastics, exhaust, bars, grab bar, fork boots, tires/rims, grips, no exhaust shield etc. so the price wont be as high as an OEM trike IMO..

Its still very perdy, as a whole you may not recoupe all your money due to spending so much on that NOS motor. but its still a very nice trike and probably worth a good buck.

looks to be in good physical condition - how does it run? It isnt completely OEM, but close to it. Judging by the 1 picture given, I would say around $1500-$1900. There are a few 350x's in the midwest that i have been tracking that are in similar condition & price range

What you put into these you will never see again. That's why this hobby is a money pit. The RARE rare machines (I.E. that 250R in the original crate that was for sale a few weeks ago) are the big money makers, just because they're rare.

It's the unfortunate part but it is what it is :(

^Put it up for $3500 OBO, on here, on craigslist, and in the local newspapers if you want to- someone is bound to take up interest. Worst case scenario, you get stuck with a hellofa nice trike :)

BTW, get some good high res pics if you can. Buyers are picky, and like to see the fine details on something like this ;)

$1500-$2000 around here in NY..... Nice job on the resto! Looks great, but as others stated, the aftermarket plastics and whatnot does take the value down a bit as compared to a 100% OEM machine in the same condition...

All oem $3500-4k. Yours $2000-2,700.

My '86 had a powder coated frame, new rear rims and tires, new front tire, new rear plastic, new front fender, new shrouds, clarke gas tank, chrome DG exhaust, stock exhaust, new handle bars, new shorty levers, extra front fender, service manual, new aftermarket seat cover, an extra set of rear tires, 60% tread, DG grab bar.
it needed rear brake fluid cup, exhaust gaskets, a rear rotor, and 2 motor mounts. one peg was a little bent.

Got it for $1,100.

i would say his might get $1800 tops in the states.

the issue is that people want that initial low cost. even if some small stuff is wrong. They will buy parts, and put in many hours to make the trike back to perfect shape when in reality it will cost them more buying part after part and shipping and hours of work.

OEM is "Original Equipment Manufacturer". Ie; Honda made the plastics. Aftermarket is anything that did not come from the Manufacturer.

The fit and finish aren't that great with A/M. And you can't have the factory mudflap with A/M..........

An OEM rear fender can bring in over 1500$.

Looks like it would be worth plenty to the average guy who could care less about OEM fenders/wrong fork boots - blah blah blah. Very nice trike! :beer

Whats that piece on the front right fork? Is it for a reflector??

Did you guys always have those for most years? I ask because thats an 87 thing to many of us...............

Xpress

Yes, very nice :Bounce

The other thing is that it's worth more to some people than it is to others. It all depends on what people are willing to pay. Judging from the pics, I'd re-estimate close to $2000 in my area of the world, but generally everything goes for a lot cheaper way down here.

If I may answer that, I think all trikes sold in Canada had to have factory reflectors on them.

I could only dream of having such quality trikes for sale in Australia. I would pay $5,000 Australian for that easy.

Thats a very nice 350X ya got there. It could go for 1800-2200 in my area. Depends on the time of year and the buyers need. smrbum said he sold his 200X in 2 hours for $1000. I bought an all original 200x with under 60 hours for $1000 a couple years ago and the seller had it listed for 2 weeks. So, if you list it be patient. The buyer will come along. I would recommend taking the paint off of all of the bolts/nuts you can on the engine. Also if the head fins are supposed to be paintless, sand them with fine sand paper. These are things I look for when buying a trike and may help you.

I would have to agree with diesel dan. Id pay top dollar for that in australia. Ive got the best part of 8k into my trike and its still not finished!
