I needed to get the balloon 22's and the nasty 25" lugger off my budget tri-z. I responded to an add on CL about a set of 60% tread 18's for $20. I get there and buy the tires and the guy shows me around his shop. I see a mitchell wheel off in the corner. Turns out it's from a 84 200X he had a long time ago. It has a nice tire on it yet and he said make an offer. So to make a long story short, I walked away with the 18's, a nice mitchell wheel with a good tire, and a nearly complete blaster engine for $40. I got home and promptly cut down the yamaha axle bushings to except one of my spare 200X hubs and put the 18's on the back. So, the end result is much better handling TRI-Z and from what I can see, about $150 worth of blaster parts to sell on e-bay. NEXT PROJECT: how to get matching hand grips on my Z and make money doing it.....

18" tires are a good choice.

I'm pretty surprised....they actually hook up ok in the sandy loam we have hear. there perfect for this Z...they were cheap and work great for sliding around the yard...which is about all I use this trike for.
