I was just wondering if you fella's could give me some info on it. Like is it a in demand atc? Anything special about? Are they a rare machine? That is the type of info I am interested in. The only thing I think I know is that it was only produced for one year, and that it is the first shaft model and only model where shaft is in the middle not offset. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

The reason I'm asking is because I have on. That I'm debating either selling or parting out, in the future just wanted to get some info on it before I made my decision. Thanks for the info guys

First, I'm a noob. I picked two up just a few days ago. As for being rare, I would have to say no. Check out eBay, there are so many parts listed for these . :)

one source says they made 208,427 of the 84 200es models.

Parts should be everywhere.

If I remember correctly the 200es has the highest production numbers of any bike ever produced for just one year.

My experience is they are numerous, I can't sell the one that I have. The next year was the larger engine, thats the one I would like. My first trike, and i still have it is the 83 chain driven BR.

Thanks fellas was trying to figure out if I should sell it or part it.

I bought one that a guy tried to part out.

He Cut the wires and sold the headlight for 20$, stuff like that.
There are just so many of them that parts prices almost don't make it worth parting that way.

Normally, one can sell parts for more than a complete non running machine.

Are you sure it's not worth fixing?

Yeah it is, I just got to much going on and its been sitting for a while now, since I got the X's lost interest in the ol work hors lol. I will state every thing about the ol girl. I've owed it for about 5 years, it sat for about 10 years before I bought it. I will explain the bike, fenders are rough but they work. All electrical works runs good but fouls plugs every now and then. I had it rebuilt because it had a leaky crank seal. And ever since the rebuild the reverse gear skips. Front forks need to bee repaired. Has wooly boggers all around. Real slow leak in two of the tires. That's about it. If any one is interested shoot me a PM

I love my 200es its my favorite out of all of mine. Takes a beating and keeps on going. I ride it wide open all the time. Its a little cold blooded but after it warms up it screams.
