yes , you're right ,,,, very good looking trike !
timing is a big factor in fetching the most money. i'd think alot of folks are thinking of the hunting season right now + would be looking for a utilty type machine,,, like a bigred.
in the spring (april) when the tax refunds are coming in the mail + folks are looking forward to getting outside more and doing some travling ,,, that machine is gonna look even more attractive so it should command a higher price.
also, how you sell it is about as important as how much you ask. if you make it easier for the buyer to pay for it (with out screwing yourself in the process),,, like 300 down (non-refundable) + balance due in however many days. will meet buyer (once paid for) up to 100 - 150 miles to assist in delivery ,, you know stuff like that.
if it runs as good as it looks ,,, i'd say up to 2 grand ,,, depending on your salesmanship ( any extra stuff with it ???). john

Was the rear sproket and disk brake guards on it when you got it, or did you put them on?

No...I have not bought it yet....I think I will pass though. The guy is really nice and its located in Louisiana if anyone wants to know. He wants about 2 grand for it.

I am a duner so it might not be as good as an R for that purpose.

Yea i meant the skid plates under the sproket and dis brake rotor. I have been looking for them for one of mine. I wasnt sure if they are stock or aftermarket? I have 2 350x's a 85 and an 86 and either one of them does not have skid plates.

good point Mr. ATC. In 86 the letters were white on the tank not red. The seat is obviously an 85.

Also the rims on the 86 model had some holes cut out of them by the bolts and the front brake rotor around the front axle is painted black with diagonal slits rather than circles and no painting.

Most of these guys have no idea about these distinctions...they just look at the color of the fenders and call it an 85 or 86....

Oh well I am not buying it anyway...

Another dead giveaway is the top triple clamp, its black on an '86, not silver. Goes for a 250R too.

Also there are holes in the 86 heat shield. But hey you guys never know I know that bike has been redone and maby thats a after market tripple tree. I know the levers are. Also they are the only honda stickers I can still find. But hey I know i would like a 85 seat on my 86s. So we will never know
