need help with a big red

i got a 84 200 es big red a couple years ago and this july when we were making hay i was loading up a snowmobile trailer up with hay and was pulling way too much but i had it in low range and id made it all right. i could smell some cluch then but ever since then if i get into a hard pull at all the thing starts to jerk really bad. the only thing i think it could be is the cluch but it slill shifts good and it never slips. anyone got any thoghts?

having smoked many clutches over the years, I've never smelled the oil batch auto clutches on honda trikes. and we use them for haying and everything else we shouldn't.

maybe it's the brakes hanging up?

wonder what that jerking is all about since it shifts smooth and doesn;t slip

is it ALL the way in whatever range you chose?

may you have a partially stripped wheel hub? 'cause they can bite and release before they spin terminally. Are the center axel nuts tight?
