Tri Z FootPegs

Ok, I have stripped the Z down to the frame today and found that a couple of the captured/welded nuts to hold the footpeg brackets onto the frame were broken. I plan on changing the footpegs and bracketry anyway, so will weld on a suitable bracket to the frame with some captured nuts to hold some different foot pegs and brackets....did that make any sense ??

Question is....is there a replacement peg/bracket/brake lever that can be used other than stock OEM ?
The excact bolt holes do not have to match up as I will weld on and if I have to, inset my fabbed brackets into the frame tubing by notching the tubing - thinking alignment issues here. Of course the general mounting location will have to be close, just don't need the factory holes to line up.

I did a search here and didn't find anything pertaining to this particular issue.

Also...would like some bling in the pegs, aluminum ? Billet ?? Anodized ?? Or maybe an OEM set off something else that looks/works good ?
Ideas ?

Hagen out of Germany makes some nice Double wide solid Alum pegs...Not sure if he's still making/selling them...But they are nice.

Sweet fix Bryan....missed that thread in my search.
That is just about what I was thinking, first I will find some pegs I like, Hagens are definately heavy duty, but I can make just about any peg work - just have to fab my own brackets and weld them onto the frame....then build another bracket around the new pegs that bolts on. Unfortunately I don't have time to order from Germany, so will try get some locally so I can get this pile-o-sht off my shop floor. :) Lotsa work to do and don't want to turn this into an all winter project.

Just ordered these foot pegs, should be an easy fab to attach. Not the best pic....

$78 a pair here in Canada, I just walked 2 doors down from my shop to the CanAm dealer, paged thru a brochure and ordered them up.
I'll make em work.

this is what I did with them ,frame mount 1/2" plate tapped with larger size bolt ,and pegs cut where they were bent then beffed up with 3/8" ,my pegs were in good shape except for bends though,I wouldnt run pegs that dont fold ,would cause me frame damage I think.thats just were I run it though
